BIO

I am Jeff Gardner, Ph.D. As a writer, I have worked in advertising, journalism and academia, writing about faith, human dignity, technology, politics, culture, and our encounters with wilderness.

My writing and sometimes my photographs have been featured in numerous national and international publications and broadcasts.

My aim is to give you well-written pieces that help us better understand our relationships with each other, our technologies, God and our place in the world.

Along with reading more deliberately, I am certain that if we slowed down, even just a little, and spent more time outside in natural spaces we would be calmer and happier. Reading, like going outside, can take us on a transformative journey to the inner self.

REVIEWS

What some are saying about my work.

“Jeff Gardner can take a simple story about a hike in the woods and turn it into a profound and readable meditation on humanity’s relationship with nature and nature’s God, and on our relationships with one another. Read him. You’ll be better off for it.” Thomas A. Szyszkiewicz – Senior Producer, The Drew Mariani Show

“I can say with complete confidence that Jeff Gardner writes with a deep knowledge of and an appreciation for the topic at hand. His thoughtful treatment of the subject provides readers with an experience that they will not soon forget.” Nancy Flory, Ph.D. – Senior Editor, The Stream
